May 20, 2026 College Acres Public Works District received notice from the South Carolina Drought Response Committee that South Carolina is in a Severe Drought. Therefore, effective immediately in accordinance with the CAPWD Drought Management Plan we will eliminate all unnecessary use of water including washing down sidewalks, walkways, driveways, parking lots, washing of motorbikes, boats, cars etc., flushing of gutters, eliminate filling or maintaining swimming pools, washing buildings for any reason other than immediate fire protection. This will also limit landscape irrigation to Monday, Wednesday and Friday for odd numbered addesses and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for even numbered addresses. Failure to comply with these Mandatory Water restrictions, may result in personal fines. If you have any questions please contact the office at (803) 649-2862 during business hours.
